An impactful install at 238 Main St, the piece titled MIT Collapse is comprised of thousands of images taken from MIT and Kendall Square’s rich history. The piece synthesizes past and present, with both contemporary images printed in color, as well as monochromatic images dating back to MIT’s founding in 1861. These images celebrate the achievements of MIT and Kendall Square scientists, mathematicians, theorists, and great thinkers.
