Comfort means care
Boston Art has years of experience working with designers and end users to create art programs for senior living facilities. The consultant begins the process by interviewing caregivers and decision makers to understand the residents, purpose of different spaces, and historical elements connected to the place. We are knowledgeable of the types of layouts, framing, and materials that are most successful.
Our team of installers and framers use varied techniques to make the communities feel comfortable and like home. Boston Art consultants are also mindful of the differences between residential spaces and administrative areas where families’ sign their loved ones up for care. We know the quality and types of imagery that can boost confidence in care-giving services, while also providing the staff with an enjoyable working environment. The result is enjoyable, engaging, and relevant to the occupants and surrounding landscapes.
Independent Living
Waterstone at the Circle is comprised of 92 luxury senior independent-living apartments and amenities that reflect the active art-scene and culture of the neighborhood, just steps away from the contemporary vitality and convenience of the city. Constructed on the site of a historic movie theatre, the consultant incorporated themes related to film throughout the space. We sought artists who used innovative materials for both inspiration and production, to develop a fresh and contemporary aesthetic. Through a comprehensive attention to the visual appearance and its effect on the building’s atmosphere, we created harmony in the building’s shared environment for the residents.
